Good win and you could hear the Crunch fans. They even got a nod from Leafs TV!

Improved effort by the Marlies today. They'll be like cornered rats Tuesday. It will be a tough two games home. Karl is really on his game. Crunch did not seem to be moving the puck as easy as they did in game one, but they moved it enough! Here's to a win Tuesday!

    Go Crunch!

I really liked the part on leafs tv when they were talking about how we only get better when we return to our building...and how that should scare the *** out of the marlies. priceless.

Atmosphere In The Old Barn Like Playing In MSG !!!!!

When the Toronto coach was asked to compare the old barn to a rink that he played in the NHL he said the rink in Syracuse is like playing for the Islanders in Madison Square Garden.  Its amazing to hear the opposing teams talk about the passion we have for hockey in Syracuse.

I thought it was great to hear Jaffray say he would like to play for the Crunch when his contract is up in Manitoba but the comment by the Toronto coach after the game was unreal.  See everyone Tuesday night and don't forget ot bring a broom on Wednesday.

If for some reason we don't sweep Toronto on Wednesday night we can give the brooms to Roberta (the head usher) so she can ride them home after the game.

With regards to LaCosta's health there is no way Howard or CBJ management will let Goehring off the playoff roster.  Munro will tweak his groin or LaCosta will get re-injured in practice.Zip it!

Wait, WHEN DID JAFFRAY SAY HE WANTED TO PLAY FOR THE CRUNCH? I remember him calling us retards...but I don't recall him ever saying he wanted to play for the crunch.

How about MacKenzie? Has he been clutch this playoff run or what?Isaid it a while back as he is the best free agent pickup that I can recall. Also the mid season trades for DiCassmirro, Rycroft, and Wilson. They are paying off huge in these playoffs. And maybe the most important pickup of the year is the little guy KG. I don't think anyone including Karl would have ever imagined what is happening. This has been some of the most exciting and entertaining hockey I have ever witnessed and can't wait till Tuesday and Wednesday night. I don't think we can sweep the Marlies but sure would be nice to get a split and be up 3 to 1. A sweep would be nice but Toronto is still a very good team and they proved that tonight with 45 shots on goal. We will have to wait and see what the next game brings and sure it will be exciting no matter what.
