Crunch Time

Anyone else listening or watching?

Scoreless first, Mason solid, lots of good scoring opportunities for the Crunch.  Russell getting pretty much every shot blocked, but moving the puck well.

So far, so good...with the way GR has been playing thus far, holding them off the board for a period (so far) is a solid first step.

Filatov is going places!!

Now that Grand Rapids has worked out their bandwidth problem, it's perfectly watchable.  Filatov looks great, Wilson is not a forward slash Kelly does not play defense and thus Grand Rapids' goal.  Mason is just a HUGE guy so even though he looks a bit rusty he blocks so much of the net that it doesn't matter.

Crunch lost their momentum in the 2nd though.  I hope it comes back for the 3rd or Grand Rapids is going to take this one. 

It was weird listening to this go to a shootout and feeling very confident that we'd win it..  So not used to that!

The Steve Mason Era begins! I, for one, am excited to welcome our new goalie overlord. Great win!
