Syracuse, NY (December 6, 2007) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed left wing Jon Mirasty to an American Hockey League contract.

Mirasty, 25, has appeared in 11 games this season for the Crunch, tallying 1 goal and 13 penalty minutes. A native of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Mirasty was signed to a professional try-out contract on October 3, 2007.

Looks like Crunch enforcer Jon Mirasty will be here for at least the rest of the season.

He's signed an AHL contract. He had been on a tryout deal, which lasts only 25 games. Syracuse's 25th game was against Rockford on Wednesday.

I am listened/watching the game tonight!! And BobbyMac said that they are going to offer him a contract for the rest of the season. Let see if he accepts!!! I think he will!!!
