Crunch Time

I suspect Sestito will return to the lineup, which will probably put Mirasty in the stands.   Toronto will probably give Pogge the nod in goal

Why they are going with Clemmenson in the first place I can not figure out but no worries as it workes for the Crunch. Sestito will play in my oppinion for the second game and will be a toss up between Legein and Mirasty in game 2. We can not play Plekhanov now that the injuries are sorted out but should not be missed. This teams defense is so solid and also ready for anything I have total faith. I have to work Snday but will have the radio blairing and hoping for another Crunch win. If we do not I will be thee Tuesday and Wednesday now matter what.

A very cool move by the Crunch would be to get Christopher Walken(More Cowbell) here plus the Original Hanson for the remainder of the playoffs. No matter what this team is the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Play Legein. He has more offensive upside than Mirasty and I don't expect too much in the physical department from Toronto in Game 2. Game 2 is a huge game for Toronto as they do not want to lose both games on home ice and then have to come to Syracuse down in the series 2-0. Not a MUST WIN for TO but a huge game nonetheless. Might want to dress Mirasty in Game 3 though if it comes back here 2-0 as that could start getting ugly if the Crunch get a lead in that game.

Legein has no right getting in their over Mirasty in my opinion. He`s just a 19 year old kid 170lbs soaking wet coming straight out of juniors. More importantly has not been part of this team all season long and does absolutely nothing for the team chemistry right now. The two games Mirasty sat in place of Legein, Legein did nothing to improve the lineup on either night and his offensive prowess was non existant. The kid only got a couple shifts per game and sat the bench the majority of the time. Now thats the perfect spot for Mirasty. There is no one more valuable to his team and maybe even in the league than Mirasty in that particualr situation sitting at the end of the bech intimidating the opposition. Bottom line is, the team plays much bigger with Mirasty in the lineup and even more importantly, they win with him in it! He has been one of the key ingrediants to this team all season long. Why change the chemistry and what got you here?

 Well, looks like Clemmensen again.  Is there something wrong with Pogge?

Anyway, how many buses did the Booster Club end up sending?  They sounded pretty loud when the Crunch scored their first goal.

1-0 Crunch after one.  Konopka power play goal.  Clemmensen sharpe today, stopped a couple breakaways and some tough shots.

No doubt Clemmenson is what is keeping the marlies in this game.

I don't get why we're so focused on just dumping the puck and trying to run the clock...get more aggressive, try to score another goal. Those old school traps don't work anymore.

AND I GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA: GAME OVER!!! I'm glad we're up 2-0 in the series. I think we would have just been happy at least winning a game over there coming back to syracuse. Now up 2-0 coming back to our building? I bet every fan in the war memorial tuesday night will be going bonkers! And in the event lacosta is ready to play tuesday, it gives him a lot more of a comfort level knowing he's not being thrown into a "must win" situation, he's gonna be rusty as it is his first game back in net. I think they will be comfortable coming back here, but hopefully not too comfortable. Heres to a hopeful win on tuesday!

all i know is if we win Tuesday..i'm showing up to Wednesday's morning practice w/ a Broom and asking Toronto players for some autographs
