A good chat, held in the locker room, of all places!  Standing room only crowd.  Howard started by doing his assessment of the line up for this season.   The usual "who might be here" under what scenario, etc.   He gives the off season moves an "A" grade.    He has been trying to convince McFarland that Filitov should be here if he does not make the Jackets.

On to building improvements....still fighting that, talk of doing a march next week..details to follow.

He talked about Konopka not returning and the discussions during that time...all of which we had read prior.

Marketing....some killer give aways promised, but would not elaborate.   Trying to land a "star" for opening night, but more of a Kids star, like someone from High School Musical.  Mirasty possibly at the Time Warner building at the State Fair Sunday.

About it, a nice session, lots of questions, none unusual....oh, and someone painted all the doors purple, which was the running joke of the evening.

And...trying to plan a meet and greet before the season starts.

If anyone was there and remembers anything I missed, please add!

He also said there might be a few more players here via signings.  They are still talking to a few guys that have been mentioned before such as Willis from Albany.

I don't get the "kids" star on opening night.  Remember how much it actually took away FROM the crowd when the Idol kid was there for opening night two years ago?  I say save those "stars" for a night when maybe you want to draw an extra 500-1000 in attendence mid-year when it may lag.

I didn't catch the time of Legislator meeting and is it this Thursday or next Thursday? I like the idea of showing up to make a statement. We should show them all that we are a happy fan family. I have to work but I will take time off to be there.

I think the meeting is next Tuesday. They would find out the time of the meeting by this Thursday. Howard wants us there with our jerseys on and our cowbells ringing.

The cowbells may be a tad bit much in a political environment. Kinda reminds me of a scene from the movie "The Mighty Ducks". Hell let's all go and start quacking too.

We want positive results, NOT to get laughed out of the hall by ringing cowbells and if it is anywhere that metal detectors may be, well that's the end of the cowbells.

I suspect the middleweight Howard would not divulge is Devin Didiomete
