I'm a 57-year hockey fan who saw his first game in Cleveland in February of 1952 at age 10--Cleveland Barons vs. Cincinnati Mohawks. I've been hooked ever since.
I see myself as a brother to all sincere fans everywhere--NHL, AHL, ECHL, whatever. If you follow the puck, I follow you anywhere.
I got on this site because I was disgusted with the attitude that the Columbus media and fans showed toward Crunch fans when Filatov was called up--for what?--to soak up the playoff atmosphere. Total BS.
Hey, we Lake Erie Monsters fans are frustrated by all the Avs callups, but at least they play our guys right away. And the Columbus people who think they have earned the right to be hockey snobs? They are upstarts--period.
My best to my brothers and sisters in puckdom!
